Thanks for reading, and I hope you found this useful. The index card method is really very easy. These dips come in many many colors, so you can play around and find which suits your car best. I also know that only hardcore VWers would notice However, Dip is a rubber coating so its no big deal to peel off when I get this done fo-real. 1966 two-tone steel wheels would be L87 on the outside and black on the inside. I know that the colors I chose are not 100% stock accurate for my model year. This process took only a couple of hours but I think it made a big difference in how the car looks overall. ![]()
